Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) remains one of our fastest-growing categories in North America, Europe and Australasia due to its versatility, affordability, ease of installation and low maintenance. We are responding to this continued high demand with expanded manufacturing capacity delivering greater production at better costs. We are deploying increased sales resources and introducing exceptional products, including durable rigid collections with sophisticated visuals for active homes as well as flexible LVT options for commercial properties that provide acoustic advantages and are more comfortable underfoot.

A critical way that we are capturing market opportunity is through acquisitions. Since 2013, Mohawk has invested $4.4 billion in 20 acquisitions, and in this time, we have developed a core competency in acquiring and successfully integrating premier flooring companies around the world. We make sound investments by pursuing high-quality businesses with unique positions, the best possible short- and long-term opportunities, and the greatest potential for significant ROI.

Geography

We enter new markets with significant growth potential that offer a strategic fit or leverage strengths in existing markets. We then invest to upgrade equipment, expand the product offering and improve manufacturing costs.

Products

We look for synergies with our existing businesses and opportunities to expand distribution and market share. New flooring or adjacent product categories are also considered.

Management

We prioritize proven management teams with deep bench strength and shared values and, once integrated, look to enhance businesses by exchanging best practices.
