Grady’s Growth Story:
Aligned With
Community Needs

Metropolitan Atlanta’s population is growing rapidly — and the demand for Grady’s services is growing even faster. In fact, while the most recent census data shows annual population growth of 1.5%, last year, we increased total patient visits by 8%. 2018 was a year of increased demand for nearly every service line — growth that requires us to invest in new capabilities, people and facilities.

Our Growing
Economic Impact

In 2018 Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District (ADID) named Grady the 2018 winner of the Marcus Downtown Economic Impact Award for our contributions to the growth and development of Atlanta. Through our payroll and benefits, purchases of goods and services, capital investments and the vital role Grady plays in attracting major events like the Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four and NCAA Division 1 Football Championships, Grady’s economic role is meaningful — and growing.
