Michael B. Polk
President and Chief Executive Officer
A global marketer, innovator and leader with a proven record of growing brands, driving change and delivering superior financial performance, Mike is building Newell Rubbermaid into a larger, faster-growing, more global and more profitable company. Before joining us in 2011, Mike was president of Global Foods, Home and Personal Care at Unilever, with responsibility for the development of that company's $64 billion portfolio of products. He has served as a member of the Newell Rubbermaid Board of Directors since 2009.
Mark Tarchetti
Chief Development Officer
Mark joined in January 2013 to lead the newly created Development organization. He is a decisive leader with an outstanding ability to bring clarity and new ideas to complex business challenges--and drive positive change and transformation. Previously, he spent 14 years at Unilever in a variety of senior strategy, business and finance positions, including Head of Corporate Strategy reporting to the CEO. Most recently, Mark founded an international consulting firm where he advised clients including Newell Rubbermaid on business strategy, portfolio optimization, and change management.
John K. Stipancich
Chief Legal Officer, Corporate Secretary And EMEA Executive Leader
John has extensive experience managing complex legal issues and has led our legal function through a time of significant business change. He has served as Chief Legal Officer since 2010 and recently added operational leadership of the EMEA region to his responsibilities. Previously, John served as lead attorney for the Tools, Hardware and Commercial Products Group and the Rubbermaid and Décor Global Business Units.
Douglas L. Martin
Chief Financial Officer
A 25-year veteran of Newell Rubbermaid appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2012, Doug most recently served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer, where he designed the roadmap for streamlining the cost structure of the company. Prior to that, he held a number of financial leadership positions, including Vice President of Finance – Newell Consumer, Vice President of Finance – Office Products, and Vice President and Treasurer.
William A. Burke III
Chief Operating Officer
With responsibility for the Delivery pillar, including the company's operating segments, customer development and supply chain, Bill's focus is building strategic partnerships with customers and suppliers while also developing our capabilities in emerging markets. He has delivered consistent growth in his 10 years at Newell Rubbermaid, most recently as Group President – Newell Professional.
James M. Sweet
Chief Human Resources Officer
As Chief Human Resources Officer since 2004, Jim provides strong change management leadership and business partnering to the company's key leaders. Previously, Jim was Co-Founder of human resource services provider Capital H Inc.
Joseph W. Cavaliere
Chief Customer Officer
Joe joined Newell Rubbermaid in 2012 to strengthen and globalize the customer development organization. He has an outstanding reputation of delivering growth, developing strategic customer partnerships and building world-class customer development capabilities. Most recently Joe was Senior Vice President of Customer Development for North America at Unilever.
Charles L. Jones
Chief Design and Research & Development Officer
Chuck is accountable for leading the company's new product design and development capability and delivering high-impact consumer innovations worldwide. Prior to joining us in 2012, he built and guided innovative global design and development teams at Masco Corp., Whirlpool and Xerox. He is the recipient of numerous international design awards, including the prestigious Smithsonian National Design Award.
Richard B. Davies
Chief Marketing & Insight Officer
A native of New Zealand, Richard is responsible for creating a larger marketing impact, while extending the company's footprint to emerging markets in Latin America and Asia. He is a noted expert on the Chinese consumer market and has worked across Asia for much of his 30-year career. He joined us as Chief Marketing & Insights Officer in 2012. Most recently, he led Unilever's global insights function.
Meredith G. Stevens
Chief Supply Chain Officer
Meri joined the company in 2012 to lead all aspects of our global supply chain, with a focus on developing the network to support emerging market expansion. Her background includes building global procurement teams, driving manufacturing excellence and transforming the logistics and distribution network at Tyco, where she headed Global Fire & Security Install and Service Supply Chain.
