Our businesses must go where growth in the world is happening. Today, about 85 percent of our sales take place in the developed world. Yet, emerging markets generate more than 85 percent of our core sales growth. The long-term health of our company depends upon expanding into faster-growing emerging markets, where the rise of the middle class and increasing urbanization are creating the most meaningful opportunities for profitable and sustainable growth. Moving south into Latin America and east to China are our top priorities. We are building our route-to-market understanding and investing in sales force expansion in these geographies in order to enable accelerated growth.
